Woodland Corner are hoping to purchase some lovely bright, sturdy new chairs. If you would like to sponsor one of our lovely new chairs for £10 and be included in our Book of Sponsors please speak to Caroline or Sue.

Policy Documents now online

All Woodland Corner Policy Documents are now available to view as PDF files online. They can be found in the "LINKS" section to the right. When selecting individual documents from the list, please select "Allow" to continue. We are using Google to host these, occasionally there is a download problem which is usually rectified by a second attempt. This is a current Google issue, not a Woodland Corner one. Please do let me know if there continues to be any issue with the links or any other issue with this site.

Nutmeg Puppet Company at Woodland Corner

Nutmeg Puppet Company are coming along to our Friday morning session on the 12th February to present a show called "Pip's Wildlife Garden" with puppets, storytelling, songs and original music and a hands on workshop. 

If you would like your child to come along but they do not usually attend our Friday morning session then please let us know as there is limited additional availability.  A donation of £2 per family is requested to cover the cost of the show.

Funshine Holiday Club - Easter Bookings

The Dates for the Funshine Holiday Club weeks this year have now been decided and are published on the right hand side of this Blog.


You can download and complete the Application Form for the Easter Holiday week here and hand in to Woodland Corner.

New website!

Welcome to our new, interactive website! As you can see Woodland Corner's on-line presence is now in Blog format, which has many advantages.

You can select "Follow" (top left) to follow this Blog or to automatically receive emails every time the site is updated add your email address to the widget at the bottom on the right. This will ensure you keep up to date of all developments regarding Playgroup, Extended Schools, Breakfast Club etc.

You can also select the RSS feed as with any other site, (below the email option) if preferred.

The "Navigation" section on the right, is where you can access other parts of the site, older posts and our new Calendar. The Calendar can also be subscribed to to ensure you don't miss any important events and can plan ahead easily around term dates for Playgroup.

Lower down on the right is a "Link" section, where externally held information is linked to. All Woodland Corner's Policy Documents will be linked there soon, and there is also useful information for parents on Tax Credits, our Ofsted report and the school site.
