Photographer is coming!

Rob Sambrook Photography is coming to take individual photos of your child/ren on the 16th November 2018.  These make excellent Christmas presents for the grandparents.  You can bring your favourite toy, or a festive outfit.  Siblings are welcome on the photo day too.  We will start with sibling photos from 8.30am.  Woodland Corner receives commission on yours orders, so if it's not your normal session, please bring your child along for the photo.

Our Cake sale on Saturday raised £231.44.  We would like to thank everyone who baked for us and who came and supported us on the day.  These are some photos of the toys and activities that we have recently purchased with last years money.

Forest School - Tuesday

At Forest School today we explored sweet chestnuts and conkers.  Zoe cooked the chestnuts in the oven and we all got to try them.  We had a story about hedgehogs and made a leaf 'duvet' for the hedgehog to hibernate under.  We learned all about Teasel and used it to make our own hedgehogs.  We experimented with buckets and conkers to explore pulleys and balancing weights.  We played lots of games - 'follow the leader' 'sleeping fawns' and 'nature traffic lights'.

We had a stroke with Pepper the school dog and met the head teacher Miss Delaney.
