Forest School - Tuesday 20th November 2018
It was very cold, wet and windy today. We wrapped up to go out. We sang our warm up song, then following on from last weeks owl focus Zoe brought in an owl pellet to show us, which we passed around the circle.
Zoe had built two little shelters that we could stay under to keep out of the rain - some of us did a wool weaving decoration under the shelter. We could dig for treasure, dissect owl pellets (discovering two tiny bones inside)
And use the bucket pulley system again. Lots of us enjoyed playing chasing games with Cheryl and Zoe in the rain to keep warm.
At circle time before lunch we talked with Emma about the weather and how cold it was today. What season it is and what is the next season. We named the clothes we should wear to keep us warm.
Once inside some of us explored a giant dried out sunflower head. We bashed it and picked the seeds out.
