Yesterday we made Diwali plates with Dana. We made them as colourful as we could! For snack we had pink and yellow coloured rice to celebrate the festival of lights. We have also been playing outside - making mud pies, building train tracks and making bright playdough! To finish the morning session we watched a video to learn about Diwali.

Diwali
Diwali, Deepavali or Dipavali is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance."
