The children have been learning all about Chinese New Year. They found out it was the 'Year of the Pig'. They researched what animal it was when they were born. They explored the difference between noodles and rice on the tuff spot tray. The children made concertina dancing dragons. They coloured pig masks and they made blossom pictures. At snack they eat noodles with chop sticks. We read The Chinese New Year Story and acted it out with puppets.
It was very windy today so we decided to fly the kite. We said it looked like the dragon dancing!
