Nursery Rhyme Week

Last week was Nursery Rhyme week. On Monday we sang: The big ship sails and completed a maze to treasure Island. Tuesday we sang: 12345 and had fish to act it out. We also added 5 little ducks as an individual activity. Wednesday we sang: 5 little speckled frogs and cut out frogs and coloured them (and of course counted them). Thursday we sang: BINGO and did some colouring sheets, we read Fergus the farmyard dog but changed his name to Bingo! We played with the farmyard and had a real game of Bingo. Friday we sang: twinkle twinkle little star. As it was Children In Need we celebrated that too.

Autumn nature treasures!

Emma set the Pre-School children and Staff a challenge:

If you go into the garden or you go for a walk. Have a look at all the different colour leaves 🍁. Can you find any conkers or pine cones.
Bring anything you find in to share with your friends and put on our Autumn table.

PS The Chinese Lantern plant is toxic so we only showed the children.
